Add Some Variety
If you think about working out as a chore, you’re unlikely to ever see it as anything different. And for most people, exercise can feel like a chore when it’s just the same, boring routine over and over.

While it’s perfectly fine to hit the treadmill or lift weights every now and then, trying new things like hiking or hunting can help add some variety to your workouts. Make Small Changes
One of the biggest problems with trying to start a new workout routine is that people often try to make big changes too quickly. For example, you can’t expect yourself to work out five times a week when you’re used to not working out at all.
Instead of biting off more than you can chew, Dr. Joel Minden, a contributor to Psychology Today, advises that you make much smaller changes. By trying to find ways to fit working out into your current routines, like adding a few push-ups here and there or walking before or after work, you’ll have a much better chance of sticking with these routines and propelling yourself into healthier habits in the future.
Get An Accountability Partner
Sometimes, what someone really needs in order to find ways to be more active is to have someone that they’re going through this journey with.
